In the mountains of Nagano, Japan lives a unique troop of primates that, like humans, escape the winter cold with a warm bath.
During a trip to Japan in early 2008, I had the opportunity to visit this remote area to observe and photograph Japanese Macaques (Snow Monkeys),
the most northern-living non-human primate.  These monkeys served as the inspiration for the popular saying,
"see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil", depicted at the famous shrines in Nikko, Japan.
